In En mille pétales, Louise Bongartz takes a poetic approach to domestic violence, both physical and moral, that which the other may inflict, but also that which we inflict on ourselves. As in her previous film HEXED, the director has chosen wood and paper as materials for their authenticity and simplicity. A singular approach, but also an ecological one, based on reusable, biodegradable and sustainable materials.
